Jazz Band Jazz Band is an organization composed of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section which is organized for the purpose of studying and performing music of the genre. Membership is open to all band students who play one of these instruments with the understanding that auditions are required. Instrumentation for jazz band is: trumpets, trombones, percussion, saxes, piano, bass and rhythm guitar.
